I have bad news and good news for you. I always like to hear the bad news first, to get it out of the way. So here it goes.

The bad news? It might be your fault. I hate to say it. But some things are your fault.
It’s YOUR fault that you are tired. It’s YOUR fault that you don’t like your job but you keep staying. It’s YOUR fault that you’re still mad at your friend (um, sort of). It’s YOUR fault that you are always broke. Don’t believe me? You’re the only one in control. All the stuff going on in your life? Ya know what all that stuff has in common? You. You are the only one who can manage your income and outcome. YOU are in charge of your money. YOU are the one who is in charge of your bedtime (unless you are 8. And if you are 8, you really shouldn’t be reading my f**king emails!) YOU are the one who decides what to eat, and how much to exercise.

But as I mentioned, there is also good news.
The good news is that you can change all that stuff. You can lose weight if you truly want to. You can keep your job or change it. You can keep your annoying friend or you can find new ones. You can move to a different state. There are so many options out there! You get to choose. It’s overwhelming, I know. I get it. I feel the same way. But we GOTTA see this as a good thing. Cuz if we don’t, we’re just screwed.
Ya know what else? You could also just keep everything as is. But you could totally shift your perspective.

And yes…I’m sure some people are thinking “it’s not my fault that someone stole money out of my account! I’m broke because of someone else.” Yeah yeah, you are right! But that disproves my point, which is unacceptable. Ha! No really…it’s just getting away from message. The message I want to convey is:

In summary, you are in control, and I think we should view that as a GOOD thing. You can forgive your friend, you can go to bed earlier, you can start exercising, you can go out and have more fun. Whatever you want! You CAN do it. Yay! Make it happen.
THANK YOU for reading!
